Position Summary:
The Patient Enrollment Specialist is responsible for engaging eligible patients by phone to inform and enroll them into Chronic Care Management services. This role plays a key part in improving patient health outcomes by ensuring patients understand program benefits and feel supported throughout the enrollment process. The Patient Enrollment Specialist manages a high-volume outbound and inbound call workflow, delivers exceptional customer service, meets performance goals, and supports annual patient satisfaction outreach.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct 120+ outbound phone calls daily to patients eligible for Chronic Care Management programs.
- Conduct patient satisfaction calls for all practices annually.
- Engage with patients over the phone to identify how Care Management can benefit them and clearly communicate the value it can provide.
- Answer inbound phone calls, addressing any questions or concerns with professionalism and care.
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly production quotas.
- Where applicable, conduct an Intake assessment or gather relevant information on newly enrolled patients to hand off to the Care Coordination team.
Required Education and Experience:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification strongly preferred.
- Strong sales and/or customer service experience.
- Minimum one-year call center experience, healthcare setting preferred.
- Must have a clear and pleasant speaking voice.
- Energetic and approachable personality.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced and quota-driven environment.
- Proven experience meeting or exceeding goals in a call center and/ or sales environment.
- Bilingual candidates preferred.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a regular, full-time position that operates in an office or remote work environment.
- The hours for this position are generally 8 am - 5 pm, but may vary slightly depending on client needs.
Physical Requirements:
- This is a virtual position that requires you to sit or stand at a computer for approximately 40 hours weekly and be able to make phone calls.
- Some computer setup is required.
